Halloween fun

So I left in the middle of a snow storm to go see Robyn for Halloween. My flight was canceled but I eventually got out later that day. We had a blast. We took the kids to lots of activitities on base, including a great haunted house. So here are some pics from Omaha.

Bill stayed home - he has a crazy job so unfortunately it works out this way too often. However, here are the pics of everyone in Colorado. The first pics are Kyler, Shannon, and family.

Then we have Grandpa with Chris's kids and Sara's work Halloween party. They had Josh too because kari was working.

Summer

It's summer - now that I am unemployed I have been babysitting . We've been playing - spending time at the local parks, hitting the $1 kids movies once a week, trying to keep Bill's garden alive, and swimming when the weather cooperates.

Hanging out with the kids

Robyn and the kids are still here. We had lots of fun stuff planned like heading to the mountains, swimming everyday - you know - the fun outdoorsy stuff but the weather has not coooperated. Even the kiddy part of the indoor pool has been out, so we have hung around the house and gone to the parks on the days we have had a few hours of dry weather. Gracie's birthday was yesterday and we had a small birthday for her with the big one coming on Saturday. Robyn only has a week left and then she will be heading home to see Glen. He will be coming home from Qatar next week! Robyn is tough and has done fine with him gone. It helps that they can talk everyday for a little bit on Skype. It did put a kink in our plans but now that she downloaded it to her phone we were able to get out more. However, she spent a lot of time writing him while we were out! The phone was glued to her. Thank goodness for technology these days!

Robyn and kids are here

While I was in Washington I found a new feature on my camera - Mary and I had a blast playing with it on the plane. She came back with me from Washington and spent a few days with us before she went to see her family here in the area. Robyn and kids were here before I arrived so we have been hanging out and having fun. The kids helped Bill put in his garden - well, most of it. Everyone has been hanging out at the house to visit. We took the kids the other day and went to watch The Hirsch kids show their dairy cows. I don't think the kids liked it but I did - saw some dairy owners I used to work with too. Bill has a light week at work today - using his brain instead of his muscles - doing requailifications for his job. I think he would rather be out working but the hours are much better. He has actually slept this week! wow - that is a surprise.
